Due to the fact that the site work for our current school year will be incomplete on August 27th, it will be impossible for us to hold an Open House without restricting vehicle traffic to the site. We will be shuttling parents and students from Milford High School to Woodland Elementary School.

The plan will be as follows:
  1. All parents will park at MHS and parents and students will board busses for Woodland. There will be 3 busses assigned as shuttle busses for this day. Assistant Principal Piergustavo has designated the cafeteria/gym lot at Milford High School as the lot Woodland families should use. Busses will pick up and drop off on the sidewalk outside of the MHS gym/cafeteria.
  2. Parents and students will be dropped off on North Vine Street and will be met by the school principal.
  3. Families that live close enough to walk to Woodland should enter the property where the walkway to North Vine Street is. (This is the same location as the shuttle bus drop off will be)
  4. Upon arriving, the students and parents will meet with the principal outside of the building briefly. The drop off and pick up procedures for the year will be explained so they can see where they are supposed to be if they are dropping off and picking up, where busses will be going and how walkers will be exiting and entering the property. Additionally, there will be an illustration for them to take.
  5. All parents and students will be directed to enter and exit Woodland from Door 15. This will be the same door that all walkers will use during the school year. There is a cross walk leading from the building to the walkway.
  6. The first group of families will be picked up at MHS at 9 AM. Busses will stop bringing people to Woodland at 11:30.
  7. As families exit the busses at Woodland, people wanting to return to their vehicles at Milford High School can load busses on their own from North Vine Street. All visitors will need to leave Woodland by 12. Bus services will continue until the last person has a ride.
